Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Savvy Sage website (savvy-sage.com) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services.
Description of Services
Savvy Sage, operated by Rachel Burwell, provides spiritual guidance, coaching, and personal development services, including but not limited to:
Individual consultation and coaching sessions
Distance Reiki energy healing
Channeled messages and intuitive guidance
Group workshops and retreats
Educational programs on personal development, financial literacy, and leadership
Related resources, materials, and content
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
If you are accessing or using our services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
User Accounts and Registrations
Account Creation
To access certain services, you may be required to provide information and register for an account. You agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current
Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we suspect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
Service Appointments and Bookings
Scheduling
Initial consultations and service appointments must be scheduled in advance
You will receive confirmation of your appointment via email
It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct date, time, and access information (for virtual sessions)
Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged
We accept payment through PayPal and Stripe
All prices are in U.S. dollars
Payment plans or special arrangements must be agreed upon in writing in advance
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
By Client:
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before an appointment may result in forfeiture of payment or a cancellation fee
No-shows will result in forfeiture of the full session fee
Rescheduling is subject to availability
By Savvy Sage:
In the event we need to cancel or reschedule, we will provide as much notice as possible
You will be offered alternative dates/times or a full refund
Technical Requirements for Virtual Sessions
For virtual sessions conducted via Zoom or phone:
You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate technology and internet connectivity
Technical difficulties on your end that prevent the session from occurring do not entitle you to a refund
We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule if technical issues arise
Refund Policy
Deposits and payments for services are generally non-refundable once services have been rendered
Refunds for programs, workshops, or multi-session packages may be available before the program begins, minus any non-refundable deposits or administrative fees
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to rachel@savvy-sage.com
We reserve the right to issue refunds at our sole discretion
No refunds will be issued for missed sessions due to client no-shows or late cancellations
Nature of Services
Not Medical, Psychological, or Legal Services
IMPORTANT: The services provided by Savvy Sage are spiritual guidance, coaching, and personal development services. They are NOT:
Medical treatment or healthcare services
Psychotherapy or mental health counseling
Licensed psychological or psychiatric services
Legal advice or services
Financial planning or investment advice (financial literacy programs are educational only)
Our services are not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. If you require such services, please consult with appropriate licensed professionals.
Educational and Spiritual Nature
All services, programs, and content are provided for educational, spiritual, and personal development purposes. Results are not guaranteed, and outcomes vary based on individual circumstances, effort, and commitment.
Energy Healing and Reiki
Distance Reiki and energy healing services are complementary practices that should not replace conventional medical treatment. If you have a medical condition, please consult with your healthcare provider before or in conjunction with receiving energy healing services.
Client Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that:
You are responsible for your own choices, actions, and results
You will seek appropriate professional help for medical, mental health, legal, or financial matters
You will disclose any relevant health conditions or concerns before beginning services
You participate in services voluntarily and at your own risk
Confidentiality
We respect the confidential nature of the client-practitioner relationship. Information shared during sessions will be kept confidential, except where:
Required by law
Necessary to prevent harm to you or others
You provide written consent to share information
Information is already publicly known
Please note that we are not bound by HIPAA or other medical confidentiality regulations, as we do not provide healthcare services.
Client Conduct
You agree to:
Treat Rachel Burwell and any staff with respect and courtesy
Provide honest and accurate information
Arrive on time for scheduled appointments
Participate actively and in good faith
Refrain from recording sessions without express written permission
Not share or distribute proprietary materials, processes, or content without permission
We reserve the right to terminate services to any client who:
Engages in abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior
Fails to honor payment obligations
Misuses or violates the terms of service
Acts in bad faith or with fraudulent intent
Intellectual Property Rights
Ownership
All content on the Savvy Sage website and provided through our services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software, is the property of Savvy Sage or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our website and services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
Modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, reproduce, or create derivative works from our content

Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Waiver
